Just Like Mama Used to Make!
(But maybe a little healthier.)
Turkey Chili
Ingredients
- 1 large onion, diced
- 1 lb. 93% lean ground turkey
- 2 green bell peppers, diced
- 1 ½ cup chopped carrots
- 8 oz. (1 package) sliced mushrooms
- 1 28‐oz. can low sodium crushed tomatoes
- 2 15‐oz. cans dark red kidney beans
- 4 oz. crushed pineapple in juice
- 2 tbsp. chili powder
- 1 tsp. cumin
Directions
- In a Dutch oven, sauté onions using non‐stick cooking spray
- Add turkey and sauté until just browned
- Add the remaining ingredients
- Simmer for an hour
